History

HKU and KI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 18, 2017, in order to foster interdisciplinary research between scientists from HKU and KI in the field of regenerative medicine and stem cell biology especially but not restricted to neural, liver and cardiac diseases. The MOU not only marks an important milestone in the partnership between the University of Hong Kong and Karolinska Institutet, but also establishes a framework of a long-term collaboration between both parties.
